Slow Cooker Sausages, Peppers, and Onions

3 bell peppers (any color), sliced

1 onion, sliced

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp dried oregano

dash red pepper flakes

1 parmesan rind (optional)

1 TBS EVOO

1.5 lbs italian sausage

1 can crushed tomatoes

  1. Combine peppers, onion, seasonings, rind in slow cooker.
  2. Sautee sausage in EVOO, add to slow cooker
  3. Deglaze sautee pan with crushed tomatoes, add to slow cooker
  4. Cook 4 to 6 hours
