Sauteed Salmon Steaks

1 Tbsp oil

2 (6 to 8 oz. each) fresh/salmon steaks, thawed if necessary

3 Tbsp butter or margarine, melted

1 Tbsp soy sauce

dash garlic powder

4 slices fresh lemon

Heat oil in medium skillet; add salmon steaks.

Combine butter, soy sauce and garlic powder; baste salmon steaks. Cook about 5 minutes or until browned on one side. Turn, baste, place lemon slices on steaks and cook until salmon flakes easily when tested with a fork.

Makes 2 servings.
