Egg in a Hole

1 thick slice country bread

1 egg

1 TBS butter

salt and pepper to taste

  1. Use cookie cutter to make 2″ hole in middle of bread
  2. Heat skillet, add butter
  3. Bread in skillet, toast 3 min.
  4. Flip bread, pour egg in hole, salt and pepper, toast 3 min.
  5. Flip again, toast ½ min., serve
