America’s Cut Bavarian

1 Tbsp butter

2 Tbsp flour

4 America’s Cut (1 1/4- to 1 1/2-inch thick boneless pork center loin) chops

4 ounces mushrooms, sliced

1/2 tsp thyme

8 ounces beer, room temperature

melt butter in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat.

Lightly brown flour chops and brown quickly in hot butter on both sides. Remove.

Add mushrooms and thyme to pan and saute 1 minute. Return chops to skillet, add beer, bring to a boil. Cover and simmer 12 to 15 minutes.

Serves 4.
