Fruit Crisp

5 cups prepared fresh fruit

3/4 cup flour

1 cup sugar (about, depending on sweetness of fruit)

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 cup butter, cut into small pieces

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Generously butter a 1 1/2-quart baking dish. Spread the fruit in the baking dish.

Combine the flour, sugar, and salt in a bowl. Rub the butter pieces into the flour mixture, using your fingertips or a pastry blender, until it resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle evenly over the fruit.

Bake for about 30 minutes, or until the fruit juices bubble and the crumbs are golden brown.

Serve with heavy cream.
