Prawns with Garlic

3 Tbsp olive oil

18 prawns (about 3/4 pound), in their shells

1/2 tsp salt

6 garlic cloves, peeled and thinly sliced crosswise

1/2 tsp hot red pepper flakes

1/2 cup dry white wine

1 Tbsp finely minced fresh parsley

Heat the oil in a medium skillet. When the oil is really hot, add the prawns and sprinkle with the salt. Toss in the oil for 1 minute. Add the garlic and hot pepper flakes and cook until the prawns are pink. Pour in the wine and cook briskly for another minute, The sauce will thicken.
