Imperial Halibut

1 cup dry white wine

2 tsp salt

1 1/2 pound halibut steaks

1/4 cup breadcrumbs

1/2 cup sour cream

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/2 cup minced green onion

parsley

Combine wine and salt. Pour over halibut. Marinate in refrigerator at least one hour. Drain halibut on paper towels;  dip both sides in bread crumbs. Place in shallow buttered baking dish.

Combine sour cream, mayonnaise and green onions; spread over halibut. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 350 degrees allowing 10 minutes per inch of thickness or until halibut flakes easily with a fork. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Serves 4.
